Role and Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will be in a key position at Sinch, leading the execution of messaging integration projects. You’ll rely on a set of APIs and SaaS products to deploy solutions. You’ll be in charge of ensure that solution is effectively delivered with clarity of scope, cost and timeline.

The client will be your best teammate during the project deployment.

Your Sinch teammates are not to be left behind. Your contribution will be highly valuable for the development of processes and best practices within project team and beyond. Product teams are all ears, learning from the project team how they can enrich product functionalities according to client needs.

Organisationally, you will be reporting to the Head of Projects, based in Paris.

As our new Project Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Pre-sales team and Accounts Leadership helping them to design, size and calculate the costs of technical solutions, based on pre-existing standards, with support of architects, product specialists and engineers
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all staff members for these solutions
  • Be the main touchpoint for client during solution implementation
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Be responsible for the success of project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate internal teams (web designers, developer team, product team) towards quality deliverable
  • Control the resources and global projects planning
  • Develop sales tools and project: SoW (Statement of Work), acceptance test plan, business cases, customer references
  • Create and manage timelines; identify risk and facilitate mitigation in collaboration with your client
  • Be keen to address client’s concerns and comments in a problem solver perspective
  • Understand business challenges as well as product / technical challenges, and always work to conciliate both
  • Propose product team improvements based on your use of the tool and on the customers’ feedback
  • Maintain a proactive and strong relationships with internal teams including Account leadership, Engineers, Analysts, and Creative Production
  • Work to continuously improve project delivery process: timelines, best practices, and resource management
  • Share project success story with the Account leaderships.

In order to contribute to this role, you have:
  • 3 to 5 years experience in IT department / digital department as Project manager or alike job
  • Technical background with ability to understand complex technical amp; business environments
  • Knowledge in web services, database and system integration management
  • Basic knowledge in web development technologies (HTML/CSS/Javascript)
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Ability to promote teamwork mentality
  • Sense of personal accountability supervising teams
  • Fluency in business English and German both written and spoken, other languages will be a plus.
