The Contentsquare Security team is looking for an application security engineer who can work closely with the development team, product managers and diverse third-party groups (including bug bounty hunters).
As part of the Security Team, you will be reporting directly to the Manager, Cyber Security. Your main task will be to ensure the security of Contentsquare’s products and for keeping Contentsquare’s users and customers safe. You will work out of our Paris (Headquarters) or Tel-Aviv office or Remotely.Role Responsibilities :- Constantly audit our application to ensure the follow-up of security best-practices and identify security misconfigurations
- Support and consult with product and development teams in the area of application security, including threat modelling and appsec reviews
- Perform security-focused code reviews
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce, triage, and address application security vulnerabilities.
- Implement security within our automation stack from initial design to final deployment, develop new ideas that help our security model shift left and translate these ideas into code.
- Support the bug-bounty program
- Organise and manage external / customer penetration tests
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on operational and security requirements
- Respond to relevant security incidents
What you need:- 2-3 years of previous experience on Application Security Operations
- Extensive knowledge of web protocols, security issues, common attacks, Linux/Unix tools, cloud architectures and threat landscape
- Deep knowledge of our technical stack and how to secure it :Nestjs, Vuejs, AngularSnyk, Datadog Appsec as WAF, AWS and AzureKubernetes / DockerJenkins, Terraform
- Familiarity with some common security libraries and tools (e.g. static analysis tools, proxying / penetration testing tools)
- Solid development or scripting experience and skills, e.g. Python, Shell, JavaScript, Nodejs
- Strong understanding of security concepts, standard methodologies and how to apply them, such as SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, data encryption, OWASP top 10- CTF, Bug-bounty or ethical hacking experience is a strong plus
- Analytical skills, Autonomy and Tenacity
- Solid understanding of MITRE ATTACK, NIST or similar threat frameworks is strongly preferred
- Fluent in english (French is a plus)
