Job Description

Giskard defends the vision of a Responsible AI that serves the economic performance of companies while respecting the rights of citizens. To embody this mission, Giskard enables AI professionals (Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers) to collaborate with business teams to evaluate amp; test the quality of AI models.

We are building the first collaborative amp; open-source Quality Assurance platform for *all* AI models. We already empower customers with two solutions:

  • AI Inspect helps explain AI models to identify risks of errors amp; biases. It makes the AI development process more efficient, saving time amp; reducing friction between AI amp; business teams.
  • AI Test allows building automated tests on AI models to ensure ethics, robustness amp; efficiency. Thanks to these tests, businesses can prevent the risks of costly AI incidents in production.

As our first Head of Sales, you will be in the driving seat to accelerate the growth of an early-stage startup. Working directly with the CEO, your missions will be to:

  • Act as lead Account Executive for key enterprise accounts
    • Manage paid customer evaluations and build solid relationships with stakeholders to sign deals amp; expand accounts
    • Explain our product, educate customers on our benefits, build ROI business cases
    • Build relationships with high-level Data amp; AI professionals: CTOs, CIOs, CDOs and Heads of Data Science amp; AI
    • Help to respond to RFIs / RFPs and drive discussions from customer evaluation to implementation amp; user onboarding
  • Grow and manage our sales team
    • Hire and coach junior Business Development Representatives and Account Executives
    • Set objectives, pace, methodologies and templates for the sales team - in close collaboration with the CEO
    • Collaborate with Product amp; Engineering teams to support prospective and current customers and help understand how to improve our product
    • Collaborate with Marketing team to define strategies / content to drive more sales and open new verticals

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in software sales at fast-growing B2B tech companies
  • Proven track record selling six-figures software deals to enterprise accounts
  • Experience in selling new concepts / innovation to technical stakeholders in large enterprises
  • Located in France or willing to relocate
  • Comfortable traveling 20 to 40%
  • Strong belief in a customer-centric selling philosophy and applying a consultative approach to customer interactions
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, such as MEDDPICC, CCS, SPIN or Challenger sales
  • Strong ability to develop a vision match with customers and develop transverse alignment across different technical and business stakeholders, both at your company and at your customers
  • Experience in management or coaching of junior team members
  • Outstanding professional communication skills in both English and French (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to learn amp; deliver fast - while being a team player
  • Bonus: previous experience in Data / AI / Cybersecurity / Developer tools
