Job Description

The Digital Business Solution (DBS) team is responsible for the support, evolution, and implementation of new business solutions across Genetec. In the DBS Operations Team, you will join a large and diverse team that is central to the ability for the company to do business.

As a Service Desk Agent, you will interact with application administrators, software developers, security experts and business stakeholders to ensure we support operations and improve the experience of our users. We are extending the team within Europe to reinforce extended service hours and offer continuous solution support.

Requirements


General criteria

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent in relevant field or proven relevant experience)
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Analytical perspective to identify repeating or related issues
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent in relevant field or proven relevant experience)
  • General knowledge of Microsoft SQL and PowerShell querying and scripting languages
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Teams)
  • General knowledge of IT applications, processes, and software
  • 1-3 years relevant experience working with a service desk (ex.: JIRA)
  • Exposure with Agile development methodologies and processes
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborative initiative with fellow team members and stakeholders (French amp; English)
  • Strong sense of urgency geared towards a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, adjust priorities while implementing creative problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate both autonomy and initiative with daily tasks
  • Team player who will work towards meeting team commitments
Technical knowledge
