Requirements
Mission:
Reporting to the Engineering Director. Owns, oversees, and manages the design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operation of large-scale global software applications, systems, platforms, services or technologies. 70% delivery / 30% management
What you will be doing:
- Delivers high-quality new features and improve the existing ones to our clients via our online platforms
- Is responsible for the full software development life cycle
- Ensures high quality design, code, and test reviews
- Manages a local team, made up of 5-7 members physically in the same location.
- Recruits, manages, mentors, and develops a best-of-class engineering team.
- Collaborates with tech lead or expert/head of practice feedback to develop their people
- Collaborates with teams across the UK and France and share ideas and experiences to the wider team in order to achieve team (and therefore business) goals.
- Enforce guidance to our development teams regarding designs and best practices as it relates to application security
What you will bring:
- Master’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 4 to 5 years' experience as software developer
- Experience of leading a team but still hands-on
- Experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver software development projects
- Autonomy
- Knowledge of OWASP principles
Tech environment and Tech skills required:
- .NET (4.X), .NET Core (2.X)
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- RESTful Web Services (XML, JSON)
- Typescript languages (such as Angular/Vue/React)
- Database knowledge, especially PL/SQL on PostgreSQL, Oracle and/or MSSQL platforms
- Design Patterns
- N-Tier architecture and Infrastructure

- SOLID Principles
- Unit Testing frameworks (Unit, VS Test, etc)
