Stem Cell,Research Technician

We are looking for for a Stem Cell Research Technician that will be working in the establishment, development and differentiation of stem cell lines as a research technician in the Cell biology team. Your will be directly reporting to the Molecular Biology Team Lead.

Requirements

• Performing experiments involving cell culture (such as cell line establishment, development and differentiation) and molecular biology techniques (characterization techniques such as RT-qPCR or flow-cytometry).
• Supporting our team’s scientists and engineers in the development of experiments and scientific projects.
• Optimizing existing laboratory protocols to improve the general workflow of the company.
• Keeping meticulous notes in an electronic notebook with detailed records of information about the experiments.
• Summarizing and communicating results and interpretations during team meetings and preparing reports.
• Helping manage the organization and maintenance of stock consumables

About you

• BSc, and ideally MSc, in life sciences, biotechnology or a related discipline.
• Experience in animal cell culture (ideally stem cells or primary cells)
• Experience using common molecular biology techniques for cell characterization (PCR, RT-qPCR, immunofluorescence)
• Experience in flow cytometry is a plus.
• Adaptability and proactivity.
• Willingness to collaborate with all team members, to upskill on other areas of research and adapt pre-existing food science knowledge to the context of cultured meat. We value adaptability and proactivity.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. We are an international team, no need to speak French!
