We are looking for a best in class website manager, to own the end-to-end website experience and take our digital journey to the next level by making our website a pillar of growth.
As a website manager you will have the responsibility of scoping our needs and defining our website roadmap including reunification of various domains, assessing our needs and defining if we need to migrate to a new CMS. You will work to optimize our website performance and UX to provide the best customer journey possible and boost our WCR.
You will complement and strengthen our Content Factory Teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, good understanding of new generation CMS technologies and technology infrastructures using CSS, HTML, Javascript, Firewalls, Web-Proxy.
You will have deep knowledge and experience in Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Advertising.
You will be a problem solver, with strong project management skills.
Missions
- Assess our current websites, and define a sustainable website strategy to support Skeepers growth plan
- Define the right setup and technologies for our next gen website: plan, project manage and deploy our website redesign and migration
- Manage, and monitor our websites contents and UX, Implementation of A/B testing and personalisation
- Evaluate and recommend new web technologies that may be used in website development
- Improve our website customer journey and user experience using solutions such as Hotjar, Optimizely
- Conduct regular test plans to optimize UX and conversion rate
- Implement effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings
- Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations from our different regions
- Define globalization strategies and implement a TMS if needed
- Collaborate with IT and other marketing teams to ensure respect of our brand guidelines and meet our organization’s standards.
- Manage external agencies and spendings (TMA, Releases)
- Troubleshooting all website issues (ux, security, accessibility, etc.)
- Updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites
Requirements
Experience and Skills:
- 2-3 years of work experience as a website manager
- Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (WordPress mandatory), and W3C Web standards and good understanding of other modern CSMs
- Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls, MySQL and JavaScript.
- Deep understanding and experience in SEO and SEA
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive view on user experience (UX) and how best to deliver high quality user journeys.
- Attention to detail with an analytical mindset and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Strong project management skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Business acumen and an understanding of budget management and forecasting when running website projects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple and clear manner that is understandable.
- Fluency in French and English
