Location: Paris, France
The Senior Analyst of ESG Engagements will work within the Active Ownership Services (AOS) team to help support Proxinvests’ and Glass Lewis’ Engagement and Stewardship Solutions by:
- Managing Proxinvest’s engagement offering;
- Supporting other Active Ownership Services;
- Liaising with customers to seek input on deliverables and manage the production of Proxinvest and AOS deliverables;
- Gathering and managing data generated by AOS products;
- Researching ESG themes for engagement with corporate issuers;
- Supporting the development of Proxinvest’s ESG engagement focus;
- Collaboration with and support of the Proxinvest research team;
- Participate in engagement meetings with corporate issuers; and
- Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3 to 5 years, or more, of experience in ESG research and corporate engagements
- Strong understanding of global climate-related issues and trends
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mind-set
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- IT skills; proficiency in MS Office, Excel and online research tools
Languages
- Native level fluency in French
- Excellent English reading and writing skills
