About the role
As Head of Product Management, your primary responsibility is to manage a team of product managers and make that team as strong as possible.
Your scope of intervention covers our Insight Collection and Activation suite of products: Ratings amp; Reviews, Customer Experience Management and Insight Activation. You ensure that these products are valuable to our customers and meet the company’s business objectives. In addition, you also supervise our transverse data and AI-related initiatives. Your team currently includes 9 product managers.
You report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and you are a member of the Skeepers Executive Team.
Responsibilities
- Attract, build, manage, coach and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers. Establish and measure clear and measurable goals for your team.
- Maximize efficiency and effectiveness in a constantly evolving environment. Continuously improve our product management organization, processes and tools.
- Foster excellence in execution and customer centricity. Ensure quality of the deliverables produced by your team.
- Understand and contribute to Skeepers’ product vision and strategy. Share them across the company.
- Ensure product developments and initiatives in your scope are prioritized and planned in alignment with these vision and strategy, delivered as planned, and launched successfully. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products.
- Partner fruitfully with your peers in Ramp;D, Product Design, Product Marketing, etc. to remove roadblocks and enable your team and Skeepers to be successful.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software product management.
- Experience in digital / marketing / customer experience domains is a plus.
- Proven ability to go deep and quickly learn new domains, understand all parts of the business.
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
- Clear understanding of your role as the primary coach of your product managers, and how that differs from managing products directly.
- Work as a leader, you have a strong sense of commitment to objectives and targets.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate throughout the organization.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Experience in start-up / scale-up environment is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years managing and coaching a team of 5+ product managers.
