About the role:
You will join the Ramp;D team of Skeepers (125 staff), a talented team working on the development of all Skeepers Solutions. In a SaaS company like SKEEPERS, the Engineering team is the main engine of our growth. Your work will have a direct impact on our end customers and your taste for challenge will allow the whole group to grow.
Within the Ramp;D department, you will join the QA department (11 staff) which works on all our solutions. As a software tester intern, you will join a squad (composed of developers, devops, PO) to work on our Insight Activation solution.
On a daily basis you will collaborate with a technical team, and you will accompany the team on the QA part
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of QA and supported by the Team Lead of your squad, you will help maintain the stability of our multiple systems, prevent bugs and take our platform to the next level of quality. Your main missions will be the following:
- Participate in the development of the test strategy
- Create and update test repository with detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Run the tests and track bugs
- Assist users during User Acceptance Tests
- Participate in process improvement as part of the quality approach
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Technical stack:
- Test tools: Squash TM, Postman, Cypress
- Backend amp; frontend: PHP symfony, Angular 14, JS
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- CI/CD amp; container: Gitlab CI, Kubernetes / Docker
- Cloud provider: AWS amp; GCP
- Other: Redis, Talend, Kafka, ELK, Jira, ...
Requirements
- Student in computer science school, you have a first experience in internship or in apprenticeship
- Knowledge with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
- Knowledge in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Ability to read and create test data with SQL
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus (Jest, Mocha, JUnit, Cypress...)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated tests into the development process is a plus
- Good organization and communication skills
- Fluent in English
