About the role:
As a developer, you are at the heart of the SKEEPERS challenges. In a SaaS company like ours, the platform team is the main driver of the business. Your work will have a direct impact on the end customers and your taste for challenge will help the whole group to grow!
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering and supported by the Team Lead, you will take part of development of the Rating amp; Reviews platform. Your main missions will be the following:
Deploy and ensure engineering best practice:
- Lead and inspire a team of talented developers (Back, Front amp; Fullstack Developer)
- Evangelize best software development practices (DDD, TDD, CICD) with the squad
- Perform code reviews and design reviews to ensure compliance with development standards
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best practices and habits
- Keep informed of any useful new features (lib, pattern...) to achieve the objective of a reliable, maintainable and performing code
Delivery management:
- Collaborate with team members to develop high-traffic low-latency applications while delivering high-availability and performance
- Build, optimize, and scale the microservice platform
- Draft and review architectural diagrams, interface specifications, class structures, and other design documents
- Ensure operational excellence (velocity, code quality, )
Technical stack:
- Backend: PHP Symfony
- Frontend: Angular
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, NoSQL
- Container: Kubernetes / Docker
- CI/CD: Gitlab
- Cloud provider: AWS amp; GCP
- Other: Redis, Talend, Kafka, ELK, Jira, ...
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in software and web development
- At least 4 years as a developer working with Agile Method
- Strong experience in training and coaching junior developers
- Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Must have strong hands-on fullstack development
- Demonstrated project management and delivery experience
- You can communicate effectively with other team members to explain and advocate your choices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under strict deadlines
- Good organization and communication skills
- Analytical mindset and good executive reporting skills
- You have experience in change management
- Fluent in English
