What you'll be doing
As Automation Engineer, your primary focus will be on working with the QA and development team to build and maintain automated test suites across our platforms.
In this role you will be responsible for building robust automated tests for new projects as well as maintaining existing automated tests. Your automated tests will cover testing types such as smoke, regression and end to end. You will work closely with product owners to define acceptance criteria and work with developers and other members of the QA team to ensure appropriate test coverage is met.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies
- Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO
- Experience with testing web technologies
- Experience with BDD (Cucumber)
- Understanding of agile processes
- Understanding of CI pipelines
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, GIT and Browserstack
- Hunger to learn and passionate about testing
