Your mission:

Leverage data to build better solutions for decision-makers, all in a strong spirit of collaboration. You will use the right libraries to address product and business challenges. Your communication skills will enable you to dialogue with the various stakeholders, gather their needs, and present your results in an educational manner.

Integrated into a team composed of many different data profiles (applied scientist, research scientist, AI product manager, data scientist, data engineers, machine learning engineers, business analyst) in order to share knowledge, you will have the opportunity to be a mentor for more junior teammates at the algorithmic level. You will work with:

  • Applied scientists to construct state-of-the-art solutions to tackle business problems.
  • Machine learning engineers and own together the responsibility of the product from modeling to monitoring behavior in production.
  • Research scientists to identify new tools of interest.
  • an AI product manager to deeply understand needs and build solutions that are actionable and adopted by its final users.

As a member of the Video Genome entity, your mission will be to:

  • Set up audio processing POCs and measure the business impact.
  • Help set up an audio training and validation database for multiple uses.
  • Train, Industrialize and deploy models in production while ensuring quality throughout the process.
  • Support junior profiles, be able to simplify complex algorithms and play a mentoring role within the AI team.

Some examples of Audio topics:

  • Speech recognition on video
  • Music matching
  • Audio analysis of videos to better understand user retention
  • Perform audio separation of music and voice in order to remove music from videos.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Problem-solving support in high-impact use cases and projects.
  • Participating in company decisions that are related to or impacted by the field of expertise.
  • Share what you know through regular presentations and workshops with the data team.
  • Support teams in making scientific and technological choices.
  • Participating in internal training on the subjects of expertise: design, build, and deliver training.
  • Maintaining their expertise.

A little about you:

  • MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the audio/signal processing and AI fields.
  • The industrialization of ML and deep learning models holds no secrets for you. You have already sent and tracked dozens of models into production in different technical environments.
  • Strong signal processing skills
    • Fourrier domain, digital, and adaptive filtering
    • Speech signal processing: cepstral analysis, denoising ,
    • Compression
  • Solid Python and software engineering skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Jellysmack’s technical AI Stack:

  • Languages: Python, C++
  • Databases: Aurora, Redshift, and ElasticSearch on AWS
  • Libraries: Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn
  • MLOps: Sagemaker, Gitlab, Airflow, Docker
  • Environment: We use Pycharm, VSCode, VIM, and Jupyter, but we’re open to anything on any OS!
