Job Description

M-Files is an award-winning, next generation intelligent information management platform. As part of the M-Files product offering, Hubshare is web-based platform providing a reach user experience to share data and work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. With Hubshare it becomes easy to create fully customizable portal to share information without any technical skills.

The Hubshare product development team is growing and is looking for a new CloudOps engineer to join an existing team of 8 developers (3 more to come) and 1 CloudOps engineer.

You will be trained to work with the current CloudOps engineer in their projects, maintenance tasks and incident response but will also actively participate in building the future of the Hubshare product. If you're a good English speaker that loves to harness tech to keep complex systems in check while staying compliant with the KISS and DRY concepts, you might be perfect fit for our team.

Working for the M-Files Hubshare development team means working with an existing team mainly located in France while being able to share insights and benefit from CloudOps and DevOps colleagues from other countries. You will be working closely with the existing CloudOps engineer based in Reims, France but also can be based in Tampere, Finland. What you will be working on:

You will participate in improving our infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure, logging and monitoring stacks and will have to deal with powershell and bash scripts to help provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring our Hubshare Cloud service. You will also take part of the conception and redaction of technical documentation for internal and external use (audit/compliance, partners).

The Hubshare product is distributed as SaaS hosted in Microsoft Azure but is also available for on-premises installations. So, you will participate in keeping any potential process and configuration drift between environments type in check through future changes.

Key tasks will be:

  • Participate in solving technical challenges to ensure prompt and high-quality solutions
  • Actively monitor for cloud system outages and react when needed
  • Deploy, destroy, and troubleshoot Cloud environments (implies infra/system level configuration)
  • Contribute to the SaaS and OnPrem deployment and maintenance solutions design with the Hubshare product developers
  • Securely handle sensitive data during any migration or backup related process
  • Provide expert L3 technical support. Customers can be involved
  • Co-design infrastructure changes to reach always higher availability and scalability goals
  • Write documentation (technical and functional)


Key qualifications for the role:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Good understanding of computer networks (up to the application layer of the OSI model)
  • Experience with Terraform in production
  • Experience with Docker in production
  • Experience with the administration of Windows and/or Linux environments
  • "Security first" state of mind
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for change
  • Familiarity with software like Gitlab or Github
  • Experience in technical problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Full professional proficiency with communicating in English (spoken and written)


Additionally beneficial and appreciated:

  • Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI/CD
  • Experience with a Prometheus-based monitoring stack
  • Experience with an Elastic stack used for logging
  • Basic knowledge of .Net Core (C#) or web development in general
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Basic knowledge of AKS, Service Fabric or any container orchestrator
  • Basic knowledge of a configuration management tool. Ex: Ansible
  • Personal project or open-source contributions
