You will be responsible for assisting a busy legal team in a high growth business with a variety of legal and operational tasks. On the legal side you’ll be everything from negotiating NDAs to assisting with negotiation of software agreements (under supervision). On the operational side you’ll be focussed on project work with the aim of helping to improve the operations of the legal team (such as agreeing and documenting processes to helping manage legal software). We’re a busy team with a variety of work so you can expect to get involved in the wide range of areas that an in-house legal department in an international business deals with.
You will ideally be someone who has experience of working in a similar role. If that’s at a high-growth SaaS company that would be great, but not necessary. You’ll be required to work closely with different teams across the entire business and so need to be a confident communicator.
You should be able to work independently, be a natural collaborator and be someone who enjoys driving projects to completion. At UserZoom we have a keen focus on process and a kaizen mindset and encourage the entire team to get involved in finding new more effective ways to work. You should be someone who wants to actively engage in this and is a creative problem solver.
