Job Description

My start-up client provides application lifecycle management (ALM) amp; quality management systems (QMS) SaaS to the medical device sector.

Their ALM amp; QMS SaaS allows medical device manufacturers to take new amp; innovative life-saving devices quicker, by ensuring the regulatory process runs smoothly amp; efficiently.

We are recruiting for a Sales Director, a true sales leader who will develop and execute sales plans to ramp up business, getting the sales division off the ground personally before hiring amp; leading a sales team.

Our new Sales Director will provide motivational leadership for the sales team, demonstrating how sales can be increased through effective account management amp; new business sales wins.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you shall become a vital component of the commercial leadership team, contributing to the company's future success.

Key sales leader responsibilities:

  • Ultizing your sales leadership skills to demonstrate how to sell my client's SaaS application to the medical device sector.
  • Close contracts with global medical device companies, as well as innovative medical device start-ups.
  • Develop a new sales pipeline through outreach, prospecting, marketing amp; medical device industry events.
  • Hire sales professionals, manage amp; lead your sales team to achieve targets, operating strategically amp; effectively.
  • Maintain accurate data and sales pipelines within SalesForce.
  • Establish productive professional relationships with industry key opinion leaders and decision-makers.

Requirements

Snapshot of the sales leader we are looking for:

  • Min 5+ years of SaaS sales experience in the Life Science / Medical Device sector.
  • Experienced ideally within fast-growth companies or start-ups.
  • Energetic persona, ready to challenge yourself in your new sales leadership role in an innovative amp; profitable scale-up.
  • Able to hire, develop amp; retain high-performing Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic amp; strategic - with a desire to be part of an elite team of medical SaaS industry professionals
  • A data-driven sales leader who can ride the waves amp; grow a determined scale-up company.
