Job Description

In our journey to impact on patients lives, we are looking for a Sales Coordinator (EMEA) based in our office in Switzerland or France. Be part of our mission to disrupt the healthcare and democratize the data driven medicine!

The Sales Coordinator will be handling a wide range of pre-sales tasks to support the seamless sales cycle and impact on sales process efficiency and revenue increase. This person should be organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a fast-growing business, working in a challenging environment under tight deadlines. This is a key role that requires a combination of strong collaboration skills, business mindset, ownership approach, structured and problem-solving approach.

The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Sales Operations. This person will work closely with the teams in charge of Sales, Legal, Finance, Logistics, QAamp;RA, IT, CAPM etc.

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to the sales team in all SOPHiA business lines (Genomics, Radiomics, Biopharma) in the following (but not limited to) activities:

  • Key point of contact for the regional sales team in order help them navigate through SOPHiA processes and answer questions and provide operational support.
  • CRM operational support CRM customer management with all relevant details to enable smooth Finance and Supply Chain post-sales processes.
  • Public tenders and RFx coordination, including coordination and collaboration between different departments (Legal, QAamp;RA, Finance, Supply Chain, CAPM, SME, IT, BioIT, etc), ensuring creation and submission of a high-quality proposals, respecting tight deadlines and necessary conditions
  • Supplier registrations management
  • Provide various certificates and supporting documents required during the sales cycle
  • Provide support to the sales team in quote creation and renewals, respecting internal company guidelines and collaborating when needed with internal teams
  • Standard and non-standard quote reviews and approvals
  • Purchase orders verification
  • Support in case of any internal invoicing issues and customer data
  • Platform account creation coordination during or in post-sales cycle.
  • Provide the appropriate level of support to the sales team in the pre-sales activities, which would ensure a smooth sales cycle
  • Work together with all relevant internal stakeholders in preparation of new or adjustment of existing internal processes, procedures and guidelines for the sales team
  • Coordinate different internal projects related to sales activities, in order to further improve the sales activities in the market and enable the sales team to achieve greater sales results.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and ensure increased efficiency, which will consequently improve sales and company performance
  • Recognize and rapidly respond to changes in internal/external sales environment
  • Maintain routine contact with Sales Managers and Subject Matter Experts
  • Provide ad-hoc reports related to the sales activities when requested
  • Ensure all the tasks are completed in efficient and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Professional Degree on Business Administration, information management or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative sales/financial position, ideally within the Life Science, Diagnostic or Medtech industry
  • Proven experience in tender and RFx submissions, project and contract management
  • Proficient user of Salesforce, other tools are a plus
  • Proficient user of MS Office products, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and problem-solving approach
  • Highly structured and organized approach
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Multi-lingual capabilities: English + a second European language are mandatory, any third language is a plus (French/Italian/Spanish as ideal)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Diplomatic, forward-thinking, and capable to work under tight deadlines
