Software Engineer required to join Corin’s development team at our offices in Grenoble, France.

Corin is seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer (C++ / Python) to join our Global Ramp;D Technology team in a fast-paced, agile environment. As a developer, you will be responsible for implementing and testing the next generation of our OPS and OMNIBotics Hip and Knee Application Software, whilst complying with medical device quality and regulatory standards.
Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.
The key responsibilities of the Software Engineer will be to:
- Develop and integrate Software systems for preoperative planning, intra-operative guidance, and postoperative follow-up throughout the Software lifecycle
- Develop prototype applications to support technology innovation for Corin’s next generation products through data-driven methods
- Ensure high code quality through automated and rigorous unit tests, code reviews, and adhering to Corin’s coding standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, and routine stand-ups.
- Work with cross-functional teams, Marketing, Hardware Engineering, and contractors across the globe to ensure high-quality product delivery and maintenance for Corin customers.
- Support Software QA, and verification and validation activities to ensure system quality, functionality, and performance.
- Internalize and follow all proper procedures to ensure compliance of Software components, development processes, and documentation with applicable regulations and safety standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and U.S Title 21 CFR 820).
Requirements
The Ideal Software Engineer will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or comparable discipline).
- 1-3 years of programming experience with C++ and Python.
- Experience with Software unit and integration testing.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Software design and development principles.
- Experience with version control systems and bug tracking tools.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with a global team.
- Strong self-motivation and professional pride in your work product
- Previous work experience in a medical device or healthcare environment
- Experience with image processing, geometry processing, data visualization (algorithmic/academic or practical/applied)
- Knowledge of data-driven analysis and modelling methods (e.g. statistical methods, reinforcement learning)
- Experience with web application development (JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, Three.JS, HTML, CSS)
