Your Mission We are looking for a Confirmed Front End Engineer to join the Operated Bus and Marketing Software Team !
The team’s mission is to build unique and advanced Tech Solutions that improve the efficiency and productivity of our Operated Bus and Marketing business users, differentiating ourselves from competitors. You will be a part of a team currently made of 2 Back-End and 1 Front-End engineers, and still growing. But you will also work closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to provide the best-in-class tools.
We believe that well performing services are ones that are followed by the same people throughout its application lifecycle. This means that you will be there from the early conception meetings, development and test strategy, to deployment in production, observability, and support.Your responsibilities - Contribute to the migration from the Python monolith to a service oriented architecture with a new React web application and Java micro services.
- Define the Frontend architecture according to the technical standards at Blablacar.
- Participate in the definition of the features with the product team to find the most relevant solutions for our internal customers.
- Customize the user experience of Marketing agents on external tools
Your qualifications- Excellent proficiency in JavaScript (ES6, ES7), HTML5, CSS3
- Experience in building web application with recent frameworks (preferably on React JS)
- Prior experiences that would be a plus: TypeScript, Python, Java
- Product-oriented spirit with the ambition to deliver the best experience to our internal customers
- You embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks
- Fluent in spoken and written English
