In 2018 we launched lt;vpTech/gt; - the IT community of Veepee. Our teams are widely distributed within the offices in Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Barcelona, Brussels, Warsaw, Amsterdam and Tel-Aviv.
Main responsibilities and expected behaviour :
- As a thought leader and team player, you are keen on sharing your knowledge, your 7+ years of experience and your expertise
- You are able to create strong relationships with your peers, both within and outside the team, to ensure you get the right information at the right time
- Designing roadmaps and architectures on LAN and Wifi is a standard for you. You are able to consider other points of view, question them and are able to adapt to new challenges. You can interact with other Tech Leaders to build a common roadmap for the team, and drive projects in the same spirit, with agility and adaptability in mind
- Technically strong on the vast majority of networking market technologies, you strive to find the best solution for service quality while mastering costs. You are to provide level 3 support on all network related technologies and are eager to work in the field to solve the issue and find new improvement ideas
- Finally, creating a production ready framework (documentation, monitoring, backup, etc.) is something you consider mandatory for everyone's well-being
The requirements :
- Strong knowledge and experience in switching and routing, both for DC and access level technologies, like Cisco and Juniper along with knowledge of multi-VRF and BGP configurations
- Strong level of understanding in Wifi technologies
- Demonstrated experience with Ubiquiti and Cisco Aironet or any other main vendors, along with survey's technologies like Ekahau or Tamograph
- Good level of understanding of VPN technologies with relevant experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies, Fortinet and other main vendors
- Good level of understanding of Telephony solutionsKnowledge of Wazo or any telephony solution, based on SIP and analog technology mix
- Finally, as we are a diverse team, speaking both french and english is necessary.
