In 2018 we launched lt;vpTech/gt; - the IT community of Veepee. Our teams are widely distributed within the offices in Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Barcelona, Brussels, Warsaw, Amsterdam and Tel-Aviv.
As a lead developer directly integrated in one of our product teams, your role will be to define technical guidelines for the team depending on the business needs. You will work very closely with the Product Owner but also developers, QA, SRE, etc. Responsibilities:- Choose the most appropriate technologies regarding the needs;
- Discuss the trade-offs between architectural choices, both on a theoretical level and on an applied level
- Discuss infrastructure decisions with SREs
- Give guidelines and making sure the team is following them;
- Guarantee a high quality of code with respect to the processes, as well as devOps and QA practices.
Requirements:- Senior level with previous experience as a Team Lead;
- You have excellent coding abilities in at least one of our core programming languages Python, Go;
- You have hands-on experience with Devops tools, such as Terraform or Ansible. Experience in kubernetes is mandatory. Experience as an SRE/Architect would be preferable;
- You have the ability to learn on the go. We’re looking for software engineers who quickly pick up new technologies or new APIs;
- You have knowledge in monitoring, fault-tolerance, durability, and scalability datacenter systems;
- You are an agile follower and open source contributor;
- You are result and product-oriented;
- Your English is good enough to talk about this job opportunity
