Our Client

Our client is a bold new game studio with a mission to build cutting-edge AAA entertainment for the 21st century. The founders are veterans in the online games, social games, and crypto fields. They seek a Community Manager to join a small, fully remote team and work on backend systems for an exciting (and unannounced) Multiplayer, Action RPG title. In this role, you will own the company’s communications, PR and community development initiatives, and brand awareness campaigns. This is a full-time, remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world with a good internet connection.


**This role is 100% remote for candidates based in Europe ONLY.**


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced giving pitches and demos
  • Understands modern social media marketing including streamers and influencers
  • Has strong relationships with top and trending gaming influencers
  • Existing relationships with top gaming influencers and magazines
  • Deep knowledge of game genres especially action RPG
  • Knows how to nurture and grow a gaming community
  • Ability to balance community and stakeholder needs

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation and delivery of a AAA social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Implement all social media and communication campaigns
  • Generate engaging, unique, and compelling text, image, and video content for social media accounts
  • Own the projects public facing communications on Discord, blogs and social media platforms
  • Monitor and report results of online reviews and public commentary
  • Build community and boost brand awareness through events and other creative marketing ideas
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Keep up-to-date with digital technology trends

Requirements

  • Have 5 years minimum hands-on experience as a Community Manager
  • Solid understanding of Online community building marketing strategies
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Aptitude for tracking relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat visits or inquiries)
  • Understands how to create desire in the minds of customers
  • Must love games
  • Must be based in Europe
