The Allurion Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for digital promotion of the Allurion Balloon (formerly known as the Elipse balloon) and Allurion Program (formerly know as the Elipse Program) to consumers through both paid and organic means. This role is responsible for accelerating Allurion’s growth across the globe by developing innovative marketing and communication strategies. Your goal will be to create strong brand awareness among consumers and to drive potential patients to partner clinics through DTC advertising and programs as well as through organic traffic. Passionate about digital advertising and marketing, you’ll manage from strategy to deployment of different tactics to increase awareness and generate qualified leads online and offline as well as improve ROI and company cash efficiency. As the subject matter expert in Digital Marketing and Allurion Program this team member will define digital marketing strategies and budgets with full transparency and collaborate with cross functional team members on buy in and execution. Importantly, the Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for managing a team of around nine employees to execute all digital marketing including but not limited to paid advertising acquisition campaigns, website and improvements, driving organic traffic, social media posts plus ad buys/ agency management. Additionally, it is critical for the Director of Digital Marketing to be excited about development of team members and coaching to further digital skill sets and personal development. Additionally, this team member will have a strong capability in resiliency, agility, and collaboration with other marketing teams plus cross functional team members such as sales, digital products, professional education, trade marketing and customer care managers to drive Allurion Balloon placements.
The Director of Digital Marketing also compiles required reporting requests, adheres to compliance policies and Allurion brand guidelines, and effectively manages resources. The role requires close work and collaboration with with hiring manager and other Marketing teams, Sales, Professional Education, Business Excellence and Clinical Program Excellence.

PERFORMANCE:
The Director of Digital Marketing will collaborate with the commercial and marketing leadership team to develop strategies, presentations, plans and assets to achieve growth goals in Allurion patient acquisition - measured through lagging KPIs (below). The Director of Digital Marketing will routinely use reporting tools to access performance, to enable corporate data-driven decision making and resource allocation. Time allocation to daily goals is the most valuable skill: planning, proactive project management, efficient communication, and high-ROI activities are critical to productivity in this position.
