As Jellyfish recently extended its product offering through the acquisition of e-retail / Amazon consulting services with Seelk, the VP Client Management eCommerce and Amazon will be the advocate both internally and to the clients, for Jellyfish to be recognized as an expert agency in the online commerce field.

The VP, Client Management eCommerce and Amazon role is a senior role at Jellyfish and part of the Global Client Management Steering Group. This person will collaborate to create and execute our world-class client management practice with a strong focus on our eCommerce clients (inc. brand manufacturers selling on Amazon), including strategy, objectives, skills, expectations, processes, amp; tools.

This role will lead our teams to deliver exceptional work and client satisfaction, grow our existing client business, nurture and develop our eCommerce and Amazon expertise within our clients, play an executive sponsorship role on key accounts, and recruit and develop our Client Management, team members.

Responsibilities
  1. Support growth of existing and new e-retail and e-commerce client base through activation of new products, regions and business units.
  2. Provide executive support for client teams, including building and maintaining senior client relationships, providing feedback and vision for key meetings including Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and leading/driving major renewal efforts.
  3. Develop, improve and ensure execution/adherence to Client Management Practices in line with Practice Vision, Primary Objectives, and KPIs. Includes development and innovation of practice Key Initiatives.
  4. Drive recruitment, allocation, and career and professional development of Client Management team members.
  5. Advocate and support execution of company-driven initiatives. Includes support for acquisition integration.

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • 7 -8 years of experience in eCommerce and eRetail Strategy and Media Management, including at least 3 years with Amazon Retail and Advertising as an advertiser or in digital agencies
  • Experience in digital marketing including digital media planning, search engine marketing , SEO, display, paid social, and analytics, as well as an understanding of overall marketing strategy and integrated communications
  • A track record in developing upsell and new business opportunities with large clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach and inspire others; strong presentation skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • A passion for digital and a desire to be informed and on top of digital evolution and innovation in the marketplace

Advantageous:

  • BA/BSc in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Retail and Advertising
