Requirements

• Willingness to act like the company is yours. We believe that’s a key driving force.
• Experience working with tech regulators, financial services regulators, legislators, standards bodies, policy-makers, and/or regulated industries.
• Experience dealing with policy issues impacting the tech industry.
• A deep knowledge of the policy landscape and the political dynamics in France.
• Experience or a great understanding of a startup environment and all the good stuff it brings
• Knowledge of what makes people and the local market tick and how we ought to best adapt our business and brand to the realities on the ground.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence at a senior level.
• Experience establishing and implementing government relations strategy.
• A personal network of contacts including consultants, lobbyists and other specialists to engage in order to reach the overall government relations objectives
• Experience of dealing with reputation management for a wide range of complex issues.
• Commercial acumen - a good understanding of the impact of external developments on the business.
• The ability to manage varying levels of unavoidable stress that comes with launching and scaling a business in a new market.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach in defining engagement requirements and the creation of communication materials across a variety of channels.
• Experience in recruiting, building teams, and simply being a good person at heart who members in the organization look up to.
• Fluent in French amp; English
• Currently living in France
