Transportation Specialist - Delivery Experience

Bigblue is looking for a Transportation Specialist to join Bigblue's newly formed transportation team, led by a former Amazon executive.

The role represents a critical function within Bigblue Operations to continuously improve the service levels, capacities, costs and reduce the carbon footprint of our European transportation.

This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our customers and to get a 360 view on the e-commerce supply chain.

Your team's responsibilities:

• Facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders (warehouses, middle-mile carriers, transportation hubs)
• Timely resolve any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity to ensure promises to the end-customers are being maintained.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Care, Warehouse amp; Product teams to escalate problems
• Maintain and report up to date and accurate KPIs and analysis in providers' performance (quality, speed, costs, carbon footprint).
• Develop relationships amp; manage Continuous Improvement with carriers
• Support the Head of Transportation in capacity planning, market research and sourcing of new carriers.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• 2+ Years of Supply Chain/ Transportation/Project Management related experience
• Master's degree or higher in Business, Management, Transportation or other technical field
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written
• Proficient program manager, with experience scoping, leading and delivering moderately complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team
• Customer centric. Must possess strong customer experience judgment
• Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization
• Experience in prioritizing multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results
