Job Description
Jellyfish Technology Solutions is a global team of 150 engineers amp; product specialists within Jellyfish in charge of building our set of proprietary technologies amp; SaaS Solutions like Reeport, Seelk, Myposeo and Vivid.
Our mission is to build a suite of analytics, automation and workflow software across the digital ecosystem, to drive performance, consistency or scalability. Our technologies include advertising automation, eCommerce analytics, market share modeling and more.
We are organised in 9 fully functional squads responsible for the delivery of one of our suites (Creative, Paid Media, eCommerce, Analytics ).
In parallel, we have built 3 transverse teams to support the global squads: Devops/Cloud, QA and UX/UI.
We are looking for our Lead Cloud Engineer, in charge of managing and upskilling our transverse Cloud/Devops team (currently 5 Devops Engineers, to grow to 8 in the next 18 months) as we scale our SaaS / Solutions to clients amp; users globally.
This includes all Cloud matters from architecture, infrastructure, security and finops, as well as supporting and advising our 9 squads. We currently have a hybrid setup on multiple clouds, with a mix of GCP, AWS and on-premise servers, using technologies like K8s, Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Airflow, Spark, Gitlab, ELK...
The Infrastructure amp; Cloud Services team is responsible for delivering and operating the foundational infrastructures and cloud environment that power our solutions. Working in close collaboration with all the JTS squads, Cloud DevOps are involved in the entire lifecycle of our products, from their technical design to their deployment and monitoring. They ensure the best standards in terms of scalability, security and automation.
Requirements
- Building amp; evangelising our Cloud Devops vision and practices, and upskilling the team on all environments (AWS, GCP, Hybrid clouds).
- Working with squad leads and development teams to facilitate regular releases:
- Continuous integration pipelines and Continuous deployment.
- Zero downtime deployment (feature flipping, dark launch, blue/green deployment).
- Automating provisioning of a resilient and pragmatic infrastructure (incl. finops)
- Help define and achieve SLAs for our various SaaS solutions, and orchestrate security and load testing
- Demonstrated success in building, orchestrating and modernising software infrastructure relying on mainstream cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP...).
- Experience leading, mentoring and upskilling engineering teams
- Good knowledge of configuration management and monitoring systems.
- Experience with leading and mentoring team members
- Experience in the Cloud and are aware of IT security is
- Ability to focus on impactful initiatives and move forward quickly and incrementally (pragmatic continuous improvement is our motto).
- Good English and communication skills (a passion for learn amp; share is a plus)
