Position Overview

  • Oversee and manage key aspects of ticketing for Global Citizen Live Paris, a 20,000 person event, including but not limited to;
    - Managing all inventory ensuring that key revenue targets are being met
    - Internal ticket requests process and approvals
    - Internal Buys and Holds
    - Oversee distribution of free tickets and VIP tickets
    - Complimentary ticketing
  • Serve as liaison between Global Citizen and Live Nation France (LNF) including on the ticketing company’s programming (descriptions, allotments, holds, etc.)
  • Work with GC's internal creative team on ticket design, ticketing company marketing, and implementation, and marketing follow-up to increase claim rates and reduce attrition.
  • Produce and distribute regular sales and inventory reports
  • Work with LNF to coordinate on-site logistics to create a seamless experience for the fan and VIPs
  • Anticipate obstacles, plan around them, and adapt to unplanned circumstances
  • Research and recommend optimal pricing and inventory strategy based on current market conditions including flex pricing.
  • Collaborate with Live Nation on the event build in the ticketing system.
  • Work on incorporating COVID protocols into communications utilizing the ticketing system.


Full Time with some flexibility of working hours to accommodate EST time zone. It will be possible to work remotely until the 20th September, when it is necessary to be in Paris for the entire week.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills, amp; project management skills
  • 5 years experience in ticketing management
  • Fluent written and spoken english and french
  • Thorough knowledge of computerized ticketing systems and Google Docs
  • Detailed knowledge of the Ticketing and Live Entertainment industry
  • Experience working in non-traditional venues preferred
  • Must be an effective communicator that can convey information efficiently
  • Excellent time management, follow-up skills, organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload, and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy in particular Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheets
  • Ability to work in an open team environment
  • Commitment to see an end to extreme poverty by 2030
