Core Biogenesis is a young and rapidly scaling biotechnology startup, based in Paris, France. Founded in 2020 by Chouaïb Meziadi and Alexandre Reeber, it is backed by some of the best European investors including Entrepreneur First and XAnge.
We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain amp; Logistics Assistant to implement our supply chain operations, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, your responsibilities will include managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, preparing and tracking deliveries, and updating order records
In this role, you should have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to details are essential.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain:
- Assist the Head of Operations optimize and coordinate the full order cycle
- Ensure timely and appropriate order placements and shipments
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
- Monitor stock levels
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Sales Administration
- Ensure orders are delivered to our clients and billed accordingly.
- Collect delivery notes, issue invoices, follow through contractual obligations
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities)
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Manage customers claims and resolve any arising problems or complaints
Requirements
Must Have:
- Relevant academic degree in Logistics, Supply, Purchasing, Business Administration or any other relevant field
- + 2/3 years in a logistics and supply chain roles
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Solid organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills - fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of FEFO method (First Expired, First Out) / Traceability and batch management
- Exposure to the field of life sciences / biotechnology
