Purpose of the role
As a Business Operations and Strategy Manager, you will support the International organisation on cross-functional projects and by researching new market opportunities. You will contribute to the growth of all of our International teams- including Operations, Sales and Marketing- by working on challenges they face and setting Zego’s international markets up for operational and commercial success from the get go.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and project management and analytical skills. You have strong experience in leading multi-stakeholder projects. You have a methodical approach on solving complex problems and researching new opportunities. What you’ll be doing
- You will own end-to-end, cross-functional projects, including tracking and monitoring project success and ensuring effective communication to all relevant parties
- You will dive into operational problem-solving with the international teams; being able to roll sleeves up and get stuck into potential solutions
- You will support in the launch of new geographies and once live, you will work with the teams in local markets to ensure that we build the right operational processes to deliver commercial success
- You will work with the Director of International Operations to build out a Zego framework for setting up and solving operations in new international markets
What you’ll need to be successful
- You have 4+ years of experience in operations and strategy, in either a management consultancy or in a startup environment
- You are effective at managing complex, cross-functional projects
- You’ll are a great problem-solver and are able to implement structure in a complex environment
- You have an ownership mindset; working with a high degree of urgency, resourcefulness and inventiveness
- Desirable: experience in insurance or financial services
- Desirable: experience launching new markets
