Akur8 is, in all senses of the term, an equal opportunities employer.
As part of our growing International sales team, you will play a key role in developing our business internationally. You will work closely with our International Client Executives.
Your key objective will be to identify potential customers to build a network of leads globally (excluding the US).
This will include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
- Identify new prospects in the territory allocated
- Understand the prospects’ business context and potential paints
- Work on a daily basis with sales tools such as LinkedIn to identify potential in prospective companies and key contacts in those companies
- Update CRM tools (SalesLoft, Pipedrive)
- Follow-up with prospects to keep them informed on Akur8’s updates
- Organize and coordinate demonstration meetings with the Client Executives and the prospects
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic prospects
- Think out of the box, suggest new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on prospects feedback and market insights
Requirements
We're looking for an apprentice who can demonstrate sales skills, a passion for challenges, new market ventures, fast moving organizations and out of the box thinking. Our ideal apprentice should:
- Be a Business School student seeking an apprenticeship to start in either September 2021/ January 2022
- Be team player and have a CAN DO attitude
- Be driven by sales and making connections with prospects
- Be highly organized and are able to remember what needs to be done on each lead
- Be proactive, autonomous and creative enabling you to find new ideas in order to generate more leads
- Possess the high level of maturity and professionalism necessary to deal with our clients (insurance Actuaries and pricing experts)
- Have excellent communication skills (whether oral, written, or non-verbal)
- Possess a ‘pioneer’ mindset, with the agility required to open new markets
- Be proactive, curious, and action-oriented
- Be highly enthusiastic about technology
- Be bilingual in French and English
- Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch,etc would be appreciated
