Job Description

The role

We are looking for an Intern to help our Back Office Operations team in our French business.You would be helping with the efficient running of some our key administrative processes with our Carriers:

  • Maintaining the carriers database to Ontruck's Operating standards
  • Ensuring that all inquiries coming from Carriers through different channels - predominantly managed through Zendesk ticketing system - are successfully resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the active Carriers profiles are updated with the latest information provided by the carriers (e.g. incorporating changes in vehicle details, addition of new vehicles, etc.)
  • Support to the Live traffic team.
  • Manage post-transit extra cost incidents and inform our clients by ticketing or email.
  • Manage pre-transit and preparation tasks.
  • Data entry of work orders in Ontruck system and gatekeeping to ensure quality.
  • Assign routes, communicate with our fleet and monitor traffic and shipments from its assignment to its finalization.

Requirements

  • Studying towards a degree in Logistics amp; Supply Chain/Business Administration or similar.
  • Commercial acumen and energy. Any previous experience within an operations environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral
  • Administration and organization skills.
  • Fluent French and good English language skills.
  • Available for a 6 month internship in Paris. This can either be full-time or 5-6 hours per day during the mornings
