The Head of Sales Development Representative is responsible for ensuring teams are motivated, progressing their careers, and achieving Lengow targets. The manager executes company and department strategies and upholds standards to ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded.

This role at Lengow is new and will be given a wide range of autonomy and encouraged to bring personalities to work. You'll have considerable influence on strategy and tactics, expanding and coaching your teams to success, as well as the opportunity to grow your own career as a leader.

You will be in charge of the following missions:

SDR best practice:

  • Managing the treatment and qualification of inbound leads generated by the marketing team through different channels in order to pass qualified opportunities to the sales teams.
  • Creating and implementing a range of outbound content to engage with prospects.
  • Analysing the performance of content and making refinements as appropriate.
  • Designing and implementing sequences, regularly monitoring the results and iterating where required.
  • Crafting sales scripts, working cross-functionally with Marketing amp; Enablement to ensure consistency and effectiveness of our messaging.
  • Working closely with SDR to share learnings and maintain alignment.
  • Owning, updating and maintaining the SDR playbook and library of training materials, ensuring that both new starters and existing team members have access to everything they need in order to perform highly.
  • Contributing to the Product, Marketing, Success, and other teams to help Lengow be a better company and platform, and in turn, make a bigger impact on our customers.

Team growth and management

  • Partnering with recruiting to create interview tasks and processes that will enable you to assess, identify and hire high-calibre SDR candidates, as well as appoint Senior BDRs. This could be internalised or outsourced, your position will be key to define the best way to reach success.
  • Actively promoting Lengow as an employer of choice, encouraging an increase in quality in-bound applications.
  • Designing, implementing and overseeing team performance reviews and career progression plans, ensuring SDRs remain challenged, rewarded and engaged, and are developed and progressed into other roles within the company.
  • Overseeing SDR activity, ensuring all individuals are achieving targets and team-based quotas.

Reporting

  • Designing and implementing a reporting framework for your teams to follow.
  • Measuring and reporting against KPIs, as well as creating reports as needed.
  • Reporting on progress by team, territory and individual - identifying trends or bottlenecks and implementing mechanisms to improve results.
  • Using your reports to accurately forecast activity and pipeline.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years managing a team of SDRs at a fast-paced, global SaaS company.
  • At least, 5-8 years managing a team of Sales.
  • 2 years minimum of additional experience as a top BDR/SDR.
  • Prospecting - you have an innate understanding of what it takes to reach leads and book meetings.
  • Experience creating and improving SDR process and SDR Team.
  • Observant amp; analytical - you are able to identify and diagnose information (be it behaviours or data) in order to draw insights and conclusions. You can present this information in a structured and meaningful way.
  • Influential leader and coach - you engage and motivate teams to succeed. You are able to help SDRs be better at their role, as well as able to help Senior SDRs coach SDRs.
  • Strategic - relying on observations and data, you are able to design and implement plans that will achieve long-term success.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, and Outreach would be great too!
  • Language: English French or another European language may be a plus.
  • Position based in Paris, covering mainly EU top markets (France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal)
