Prior to the pandemic, our team supported remote-work. This has helped us transition smoothly to a full-remote company this year. We'll be keeping our HQ in Paris as home base while staying flexible to see what the future holds for our growing team. Currently, we're spread out throughout the world. We're looking for ambitious and curious teammates to take part in this adventure of growing from a start-up to a scale-up.
What you'll be doing:
Directly reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, your main tasks will be the following:- Secure the employment operations of Swapcard France and its subsidiaries (US, UK, Canada, Singapore, UAE, India, and more to come)- Develop template employment agreements and documentation for each entity- Develop and draft company policies in cooperation with Culture and Admin team- Handle employer’s obligation and compliance, administrative inspection, and employee’s termination- First contact of Culture and Finance team- Occasionally, support the other members of the legal team on various legal tasks
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data protection- Master degree in Employment law- Qualified to practice law in France- 2/3 years experience working in an international law firm- Good knowledge of Employment frameworks around the world- It will be highly appreciated if you have worked in a start-up or are familiar with a hyper-growth environment- Excellent communication and drafting skills- English and French full proficiency (both writing and oral)- Business-oriented and a great negotiator- Pro-active, autonomous, solution-driven- Diligent, rigorous, detail-oriented- Open-minded, not reluctant to change processReasons to join us
