Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Paris office!

Albatross’ European Business Unit represents a strategic subsidiary for the Group given its exposure to its clients’ headquarters (in Europe). In order to lead our European team and unlock our great potential in this market, we are looking for a managing director-europe !

Reporting to Albatross Vice President Atlantic, you will manage teams based in France and UK but covering the whole continental Europe.

You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the European Business Unit, by controlling and overseeing all aspects of the Business Unit (Operational / Commercial / People), ensuring profitability and business growth are in line with Albatross CX and Customer Experience Group’s targets.

You will develop Albatross CX client portfolio, through the existing clients and the conversion of prospects.

Requirements

Your main scope will be as follows :

  • Be in charge of the overall management of the Business Unit
  • Ensure a positive and motivating work environment for your team
  • Ensure that your teams create value for the clients it partners with
  • Be accountable for the Business Unit’s Pamp;L
  • Develop and execute the business strategies
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Ensure Operations Department delivers on time, in full the requested CX Data
  • Lead international projects business development
  • Monitor the Business Units performance and provide a clear reporting to the management
  • Establish the yearly business plan

To succeed in this role, you must have a strategic mindset and be an excellent leader. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for this role.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master in Luxury Management / Business Administration / Business School or similar relevant fields
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in retail, consulting, marketing or sales within the luxury industry
  • Proven experience as Area Manager / Managing Director or similar role with experience in team management
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
  • Thorough knowledge of the premium and luxury market changes and forces that influence the company
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (Polished, persuasive, diplomatic communication skills with experience in presentations and proposal writing)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Consulting approach.
  • Negotiation skills
  • English and French are a must; third language like Italian would be advantageous
