About the role
- Develop innovative multi-browser/device compatible websites and applications
- Contribute to the design of our architecture and technical vision
- Document and test your code through all stages of production
- Participate to the design of new products and features in cooperation with product managers
- Learn and develop your skills through the team best practices (development, agile philosophy, chapters, etc.)
- Maintain your own development environment
- Be a pillar of the team's values and excellence
Requirements
Technical skills you’ll need
Strong knowledge and significant previous experience in a frontend developer role, with substantial experience and application of:
- Delivering high-quality websites built with HTML5
- Cross-browser compatible styling using Sass/Less and task runners like Gulp or Grunt
- Responsive web design best practices
- CSS frameworks (Bootstrap preferred)
- Experience with Javascript and jQuery including plugins
- Modern Javascript best practices, including MVVM and MVC as well as experience working with NPM packages
- Github version control
- CMS systems such as WordPress (Including child themes), Drupal and Joomla
Additional skills
- Knowledge of PHP Angular.js, React experience beneficial but not required
- Comfortable working within a command-line interface
General skills And experiences
- 2 years of experience as a front end developer
- A team player with high energy and excitement for modern web development
- Strong ability to understand functional /user-centric topics and to collaborate with product managers
- Passionate, innovative and fast learner with the ability to discover new development and engineering best to better shape our future technological solutions
- Prior experience working in an agile environment
- A good understanding and application of User Experience (UX) principles
- Fluent in english and ability to work with cross-functional teams
