As a QA and Release Engineer, you will join our engineering team to help us deliver our products and features at a fast pace, while reaching the highest possible levels of quality by:

  • handling the Quality Assurance process for each of our new features, and improving it by automating it more and more over time.
  • working closely with different engineering and support teams to maintain and improve proper configuration management, integrations tests, system administration, release tools and customer support to compile, assemble and deliver code into finished products to customers.
  • working hand-in-hand with our Peer 2 Peer and SDK developers teams to improve the testing and product quality.
  • Be the QA lead to maintain the process.
  • Build Cloud testing platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain streamroot QA testing process and improve pipelines to transform source code into viable products. Improve the Streamroot release.
  • Coordinate engineering workflows with Streamroot’s engineering leads to increase visibility on quality-related topics and redefine the quality ownership model in the company.
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and highly available QA and testing tools for the P2P component and Player technology.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Maintain a good level of the documentation
  • Good communication skills and teamwork: an excellent listener, as well as ability to provide clear and organized documentation for all work performed
  • Diligent and open communication with other team members, product amp; pre-sales

Requirements

  • 1+ year in software engineering / system administration.
  • Good communication skill and writing.
  • DevOps culture and familiarity with modern software engineering tools:
    • Distributed source code management (e.g., git)
    • Build automation (kubernetes, Cloud build, Jenkins, Travis-CI, Circle-CI)
    • Configuration management (Salt and/or Ansible, Docker).
    • Good skill in the programming languages (ex : javascript, Python, Go,..), knowledge of web programming languages JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with UNIX and one or more web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures is a plus.
  • Curious and open-minded, comfortable sharing knowledge and able to create synergies between different teams.
