France is the second territory for MADE.COM after the UK. In order to scale our brand and build MADE.COM as the number one design shopping destination, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Brand Marketing for 6 months (maternity leave cover). Our vision is to build MADE.COM in France amp; Spain as the market authority in term of Design.

You will be overseeing all aspects of the MADE.COM Brand in France and Spain and be responsible for a team of marketers across PR, Brand Adocacy and Content.


Here are some of the more specific tasks :

  • Understand local specifics with the emphasis on competitors, digital landscape and position MADE as the key player on the market
  • Develop brand’s value within the design community through out-of-the-box actions, working both, on strategy as well as implementation
  • Develop and adapt the brand’s unique tone of voice as well as measure and grow brand awareness, consideration and key brand values on the local market
  • Understand consumer behaviour on the local market and ensure brand strategy in line with identified parameters
  • Account for the Brand Marketing budget and all related KPIs
  • Own all Brand Marketing activities across PR, Brand Advocacy, Content, Partnerships and Customer Marketing
  • Coordinate the team on the local market as well as ensure consistency in actions and regular exchange between key stakeholders in the HQ team (in particular Brand and Marketing)
  • Plan marketing amp; vision 2022 amp; budget

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in building a successful brand in very creative environment
  • Demonstrate a real passion for the brand and the Home amp; Decoration sector
  • Demonstrate experience in building a truly content focus marketing and show a strong appentency for design
  • Experience managing and being accountable for large Brand Marketing budgets
  • Able to manage through a Matrix organization with central functions in the HQ in London
  • Passion for our Brand, a strong brand ambassador and advocate for MADE, both internally and externally
  • Able to combine the creative mind with precise budget management
  • Able to think outside of the box
  • Proven track record in managing a diverse group of marketing experts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both French and English
  • Able to gain trust and build strong relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally
  • Proactive and positive ‘can do’ attitude
