We are looking for a talented Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager to build our brand and social media presence. You’ll manage the creation of high impact social media strategies, and the planning and execution of successful social media and influencer campaigns. To do that, you will have to be on top of social media trends, uncover consumer insights and deliver innovative concepts that truly represent the Zapp brand. You’ll have previous experience in social media and influencer marketing and be comfortable leading your own projects as well as using social listening and analytics tools. Ultimately, you will increase brand awareness and audience engagement across a range of social media platforms, and be able to report on the effectiveness of your activity.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a great local social media strategy in close alignment with our overall marketing goals and team in the UK
- Deliver high impact social media campaigns: Generate, edit, publish and share engaging social media content in line with the Zapp brand
- Identify a great portfolio of relevant (local) influencers for partner- and ambassadorships
- Negotiate and manage social media partnerships to ensure favourable agreements and timely delivery of content at a high standard
- Perform research and benchmark analysis on current trends, influencers, technologies and audience preferences and consistently integrate these
- Attend relevant events for networking and business purposes
- Set up, track and report on relevant marketing KPIs and steer for success
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social media Manager or in a similar role, entailing the planning and managing of social media and influencer campaigns and longer-term strategies
- Extensive knowledge of relevant influencers and the latest social media and marketing trends
- Strong capability in networking and the ability to build long lasting relationships and VIP partnerships
- Outstanding communication, writing and negotiation skills
- Commercially and creatively minded
- Process driven and demonstrate an ability to deliver in a timely manner
- Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g. BrandWatch, Pulsar, Sprout, etc. is a plus
- BSc degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a similar field is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable in a highly ambiguous environment, able to take responsibility from day one
