Job Description

Jellysmack is looking for an HRBP who will be responsible for managing a specific population on all HR topics and supporting our talents’ growth. You will be assigned to the Jellysmack Tech department and will be responsible for supporting all functions within this department (development, data, etc.).

What you will be doing :

-Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation:

  • Ensures that HR policies/internal rules are understood and applied by employees/managers
  • Ensure that all team members have a thorough understanding of Jellysmack’s culture, embody Jellysmack’s values
  • Cascade information related to newly signed collective agreements

-Ensure the proper roll out of HR processes (performance reviews, succession planning) :

  • Weekly performance reviews:
    • Collect information for weekly performance reviews
    • In particular, collect data on staffing preferences, upward feedbacks, editor amp; content performances on qualitative objectives
    • Animate weekly performance meeting
    • Coordinate with HR experts for end-to-end timely integration of all decisions in processes
    • Support performance management of staff
    • Ensure that every team member has clarity around their objectives and that performance is appropriately rewarded
  • Structure performance reviews process and bring step by step managers to autonomy in giving feedback
  • Participate in Company-wide performance campaigns

-Support business in improving org whenever needed:

  • Work with team Managers to optimize org and staffing
  • Continuously challenge job descriptions and compamp;ben mechanisms to ensure adequation between org efforts and strategic importance of each population (in collab with Comp and Ben expert team)
  • Gather key Learning amp; Development needs and collaborate with Lamp;D team to ensure needs are met

-Maintain and analyze KPIs:

  • Measure quarterly engagement level leveraging survey and analyze it to drive insights and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain HR report
  • Analyze results and propose improvement actions
  • Key role in ensuring a high quality level of HR data in our system

-Coordinate initiatives to maintain high engagement level (in collaboration with Culture and Happiness teams):

  • E.g., animate co-development sessions with managers, teambuilding activities, goodies to develop pod community feeling, etc

-Admin amp; Legal :

  • Contract renew and update
  • Management of contentious cases mutual agreements amp; dismissal with the support from the law agency

-Jump-in transversal HR projects working with the HR team

Profil:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, is required.
  • At least 5+ years as a HRBP or HR Manager in a Tech department
  • You have a deep understanding and experience of the challenges an engineering/tech organization is facing
  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to solve problems and implement solutions
  • Strong communication skills both writing and speaking, you will have to communicate with several teams and stakeholders
  • Fluent in english
