Jellysmack is seeking a Compliance Officer located in Paris to join the legal team. This individual will carry out the following:

• Oversee regulatory compliance, professional standards, quality management, and related policies across Jellysmack
• Create a quality management procedure to ensure long-term gains and compliance while managing effective quality control to promote, identify, prevent, and detect noncompliance geared towards creating a quality culture at Jellysmack
• Achieve organizational goals to measure, monitor, and communicate quality management and compliance policies across all departments
• Build a team of compliance project managers internationally

Role and responsibilities:

You’ll be in charge of compliance as a whole, including anti-corruption, fraud, privacy, sanctions, security, payments, employment, product safety, and antitrust.

Your daily roles will include:

• Provide compliance initiatives at Jellysmack and all subsidiaries,
• Develop a system that will scope, procedures, and guidelines that cover risk compliance
• Update and maintain compliance policies
• Be the preferred point of contact and work in close cooperation with other departments to provide comprehensible compliance information
• Perform research on regulatory compliance best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of compliance-related experience working in consulting, law firms, startups, or at a Big Four
• Possess compliance-related certifications (e.g., CFE, CCEP-I).
• Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations
• Solid experience developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs internationally
• Analytical and data-driven
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and French
