Role
As an Engineering Manager at PriceHubble, you will have responsibilities that span people, engineering and delivery. We will rely on you to ensure that engineers grow as they deliver on our mission goals. As well as influencing culture, to facilitate technical delivery, to work with your team on strategy, practices and execution, to coordinate with other teams across PriceHubble, and with leadership to define big picture vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
- Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
- Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help to develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
- Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with our company values.
Requirements
- +5 years experience on a similar role (+10 engineers, +1 team)
- Software engineering background
- Hands-on experience programming, can contribute to our codebase if needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring engineers towards delivering timely, high quality software together with team
- Track record of long term successful decision making
- Solid experience working in an agile development environment
- Knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management
