We are looking for a mid-level software engineer that has a strong interest in cloud-computing and AI to help build our complex data-processing solution.
You’ll join a motivated team, willing to share their knowledge and passion for advanced computer science and web development, where your typical missions will be:
- Building new features for our world-leading software,
- Maintaining existing web APIs and build new ones,
- Working on technical design with our internal Data Science amp; UX teams,
- Optimizing the run-time of our algorithms and machine-learning models,
- Being the technical referent on a feature of the product,
- To refactor and improve complex data-processing mechanisms,
- Provide technical support to sales teams during customer's pilot projects.
You will be fully involved in the heart of our platform, learning every day and seeing the impact of your work in production.
Your work will involve:
- Designing, building, integrating and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code,
- Sharing knowledge with junior developers and propose good practices to the team,
- Animating the agile process,
- Participating in design workshops for new features and refactoring.
Technical stack: Java 11 / Spring, Angular / Typescript, NgRx, PostGreSQL, Redis, AWS, Python 3, Terraform.
Requirements
We're looking for innovative and rigorous minds that wish to be core contributors to our platform, possessing the following attributes:
- Required / Mandatory: Must possess an employment status (French or Schengen area nationality or a ‘carte de séjour’) that will enable the successful applicant to work from our Paris office
- Required / Mandatory: at least 3 years of work experience in either Java, TypeScript or both
- A strong experience in developing web applications
- Good communication skills and a will to share your knowledge with the team
- A will to produce good quality code and a good knowledge of software development best practices
- A good vision on both backend, front-end and infrastructure challenges
- A fluent level of spoken English
- Any experience with AWS, Docker or Terraform can be a plus.
