At Qonto, our AML/CFT system (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) is divided into two levels:
• Level 1: The Customer Success - AML/CFT team, referring to the Operations department, performs operational controls to ensure our client base is not exposed to Money-laundering or Terrorist Financing risks.• Level 2: The Financial Security team, referring to the Compliance department, is in charge of the definition and supervision of the AML/CFT system and performs enhanced investigations in case of suspicion.
As an AML/CFT Officer, you will work closely withThibaultand Dominique, our Team Leads.
As AML/CFT Officer at Qonto, you will:
• Controlthe KYC and KYB processes along with the PEP/SL.• Analyze feeds to process targeted alerts and control the relevance of our clients’ financial flows regarding their activities.• Communicate with the customers and counterparts in order to obtain key information.• Answer and manage the requests of authorities in collaboration with the Compliance Team.• Develop the Italian market and its specificities.

About You
• Experience: You have a first significant experience as an AML/CFT Officer and you know the Italian market and its specificities.• Problem solving: You have been trained in problem-structuring and analysis in a consulting firm or bank for at least 6 months.• Analytical mindset: You are comfortable with numbers and have a perfect command of Excel. • Organizational skills: You are extremely rigorous and curious.• Synthesis: You have a capacity for synthesis and know how to look at the big picture on your subjects.• Languages: You are fluent both in Italian and English. French is a strong plus.
