This role will be based in Elancourt (Yvelines), within Aliaxis Global Ramp;D Centre.

Reporting into the Group Research amp; Technology Director, you will handle the following responsibilities:

• Propose, follow and manage Research amp; Innovation projects related to water technologies and sensor applications assessment;
• Evaluate and develop new sensor and data acquisition technologies related to water quality;
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
• Lead complex technology development / scientific initiatives;
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program teams;
• Participate to innovation projects by doing exploration work, bibliographic work, experiments;
• Participate to the increase of knowledge by a technology watch and participation to conferences, congresses, seminars and trainings;
• Share experience to improve the knowledge and the understanding on biofilm behaviour in drinking water;
• Collaborate with the existing Team to achieve common goals especially regarding Safety and Budget;
• Stay informed on and comply with the code of conduct (including data confidentiality), missions, and values established by the Group;
• Go for ZERO accountability.

Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE amp; SKILLS:

• Experienced engineer (BAC+5, Master) in electrical or electro-mechanics, systems engineering, IoT, with min. 5 years of experience, additional experience with bio-chemistry is a plus;
• Proficient use of innovation and Ramp;D project management tools such as voice of the customer, Stage gate process, quality function deployment, FMEA, design of experiments,
• Excellent command of the English language (both written amp; verbal);
• Ability to synthetize the results and capacity of interpretation;
• Pragmatism, curiosity and perseverance;
• Proven ability to develop and communicate well structured technical proposals, recommendations including tests programs/actions plans;
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex issues to all levels in the company;
• Influencing skills;
• Aptitude for multidisciplinary and international teamwork;
• Creativity, inventiveness, dynamic and collaborative mindset;
• Experienced in working within a research environment.
