We are looking for the head of Rider Growth to join our Regional team covering Western Europe, LATAM and APAC. In this role, you will manage the rider growth team and own the full rider growth vertical for the region. You will be responsible to define and execute the pricing, incentive and rider lifecycle strategy in order to meet the growth targets. In this role you will need to partner with all the local GMs but also with the HQ in San Francisco in order to both have a tailor made but also scalable approach.
The success of the Rider Growth program is critical to scaling micro mobility solutions while hitting operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate is an analytical, strategic and creative problem solver, eager learner, and well-rounded cross-functional team player ready to tackle the many challenges in micro mobility today.What You'll Do:
  • Set the vision and strategy for the Rider growth team for the region
  • Create and lead a lean team to ensure prioritisation and execution of the highest impact initiatives
  • Define and execute the pricing strategy in collaboration with the local GM and the Global HQ
  • Define and execute the Rider Experience strategy understanding the local needs and influence the global product roadmap accordingly
  • Define the relevant rider segmentation and track rider behaviour in the platform
  • Execute the local marketing communication based on the local strategy and regional analysis
  • Gather continuous feedback from the internal teams and identify the needs to meet the growth targets
  • Take ownership of new programs, processes, or pilots impacting our Operations, and become an internal champion to cross-functional partners
  • Report the learnings to the region/company top management and suggest out of the box approaches to solves the issues encountered
  • Advocate and instil an owner and rider centric culture within the organisation
  • Member of the Regional Leadership team
About You:
  • 8+ years of professional work experience in related fields (strategy consulting, investment banking, operations, project management in tech firms, etc.).
  • Previous experience in scale up working with cross functional teams is a plus
  • Track record of team management and operationalising strategy in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Unparalleled business judgement and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, deep measurable insights, modelling, and sophisticated test plan design and analysis; SQL/Python experience is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
  • High energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with direct staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English, another language is a plus
