Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Product Specialist to join our Product Team. You will be the liaison between our systems and Bigblue's users. Working directly with experienced product managers and engineers (ex: Apple, Vimeo, Kapten.), you will ensure the quality of our application and its features adoption. This opportunity is a unique hands-on way to discover all the facets of a tech platform and learn technical skills.


Role
  • Develop expertise in Bigblue's application in order to provide technical insights internally and externally
  • Capture product feedback, investigate people's issues and identify solutions
    • Ensure that bugs are being escalated and triaged
  • Create documentation and build training content to make team processes sustainable and scalable
  • Communicate pedagogically with the team to improve their knowledge and tech-savviness

Additionally, you will shape the role! Whether you're curious about our Tech or about the Product, we will empower you to develop expertise in these areas and extend your responsibilities. This opportunity can be a launching pad to transition to tech roles, and especially at Bigblue.

Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor or Master's degree from an engineering school (or equivalent)
  • Eager to learn - You are excited to discover new scopes and learn new technologies
  • Embrace complexity - You have an habit of digging deep to understand how things really work
  • Problem-solver - You thrive to find solutions to people's problems
  • Communicator - Excellent writing and summarising skills. As you will work with Bigblue's transversal teams, you make sure everyone understands complex situations and you build strong relationships with the different teams.
  • Languages - Strong English amp; French communication skills - written amp; oral - to engage with all team members and merchants

Bonus

  • Work experience - Past experience in a cross-functional role in technology, support or operations
  • Programming - Experience with software engineering and programming, or software tools (inspector, Google Cloud logs, Postman, etc.). If you're interested, the role can include development and maintenance of our software
  • Data Analysis - Ability to analyze product data and manipulate databases (SQL)
