We’re looking to hire a Regional Business Manager to cover France and Benelux. You will need to live in this region.

The ability to speak at least one language from these regions (plus English) is a pre-requisite.

These are senior roles with accountability for the business performance of a defined market region across Europe. You will work closely alongside the global commercial team (London) and the European Head of Sales and Marketing as well as wider commercial teams. As the head of an allocated region you will be responsible for developing a tailored distribution strategy and implementing a network for sales in your region. You will also be the spokesperson and central contact for all sales amp; marketing activities in the region. Appointment and then direction of commercial agents and ambassadors for the region as well as planning and managing marketing events and campaigns will also form part of the responsibilities.

You’ll be responsible for:

External: Research and develop relationships with key stakeholders including potential distribution partners relevant to our business; keep up to date with the latest industry and customer experience trends that can impact the business. Negotiation of final contracts with business partners (commercial agents and their management teams, approx. 60).

Internal: Implement and contribute to the sales amp; distribution strategy for the business as determined by the Commercial Director also ensure that the regional strategy is in line with the overall European strategy.

Research and understand the target audience and different customer personas; build relationships with key stakeholders within the business (in Germany as well as UK).

Deliverables:

  • Develop, adapt and execute innovative sales and after sales strategies for the region in close alignment with top management considering the complexities of national law, licensing requirements, homologation and derogation issues etc.
  • Fields of strategy development include among others: distribution channel, partner definition, network development, marketing approach, fleet and pre-owned strategies, etc. You’ll need to think out of the box and make a clear distinction against current automotive industry processes.
  • Research, identify and establish regional partnerships fitting the Grenadier brand as part of a process to implement the European sales strategy.
  • Closely align with the European Business Development Manager to align regional strategies in the wider commercial set-up.
  • Establish close working relationship with the Product Manager, Marketing Communications Manager, After-Sales Manager and Customer Experience Manager within the commercial teams in London and Böblingen.
  • Align the planned sales network closely with the Regional Aftersales Manager to ensure the maximum coverage of the markets (sales amp; aftersales) and a strong fit to the sales network in order to optimize the customer journey.
  • Tracking and analysis of market data and market potential; make recommendations for routes to market and the extension of business.
  • Prepare business case analyses on the recommendation of market entry plans and sales channels
  • Act as an interface between external partners (e.g. potential distribution partner, financial and residual value institutes) and internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, legal, finance).
  • Auditing regional partner compliance with Grenadier processes and standards and create action plans to remedy where necessary. Appoint and terminate regional business partners as and when required.
  • Work closely with the chosen agencies on Marketing amp; Communications to tailor the global strategy to the region and to ensure its implementation.
  • Management of the INEOS owned Event Hubs in the region, including regional strategies of engagement with VIPs, journalists, and off-road clubs.
