Overview of Team

The French team at Zego is responsible for expanding our B2B Fleet offering locally, from building our Commercial and go-to-market strategy to closing key prospects and managing current B2B accounts. They are part of the overall Zego B2B team, and they ensure consistent deployment of our Product value proposition in France by working in close collaboration with the wider teams(Finance, Insurance Operations, Claims, HR, etc.).

Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Director of B2B, the Head of Sales will help Zego France reach its full potential in the local market. You will be accountable for driving our Sales efforts in France, leading and supporting the team to reach our 2021 targets. You will be working on a wide range of initiatives from qualifying deals and building new broker relationships to closing key deals and helping retaining our key customers. As you will be our representative on the ground you will also support in identifying the next big growth opportunities for Zego in the long term and key improvement areas of our product to fit local market needs.

What you will be working on
  • Setting and driving to meet and exceed our targets for new business and renewals
  • Managing Sales Performance in France
  • Managing the pipeline, progress and removing any obstacles the team encounter
  • Provide relevant reporting and analysis to make further decisions and help the wider business understand the sales performance of your department
  • Building and driving strong relationships with top tier partners to enable business growth in your market
  • Identify and drive opportunities to increase our sales potential for the French Market
  • Coaching and managing our Sales team in France
What you will need to be successful
  • You have previous experience as a Sales manager or Director in B2B sales
  • You have experience in direct selling and delivering sales targets within the Insurance sector
  • You have previous experience in managing a team, with focus on strong sales performance
  • You are an excellent negotiator
  • You are able to easily shift between long-term strategy plans and short-term tactical initiatives
  • You have strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for data
