The Global Channel Partner Manager is responsible for building and scaling a best in class Global Channel Partner Distribution organization within SOPHiA, ensuring capabilities and readiness to support regional commercial strategies.
This role will ensure all channel partners have the full necessary support from SOPHiA Genetics to perform their duties and will be the voice of the channel partners within different departments allowing the implementation and optimization of channel partner processes.
As a Global Channel Partner Manager you are responsible for:
Requirements
- Proven track record with a minimum 7-10 years’ experience in managing global channel programs, including 3-5 years’ experience in managing teams
- Previous experience and solid knowledge in health technologies/devices and laboratory market environment
- Multi-lingual capabilities: English and Spanish mandatory (additional languages desirable)
- Ability to live and work in the EU/UK (no company sponsorship)
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, chemistry, genetics or business/communications (MBA or other related degree in business, marketing, communications highly desirable)
- Knowledge of finance, accounting procedures amp; global shipping regulations and policies.
- Diplomatic, forward-thinking, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and coordinate with different organizational departments working in different time zones
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to take initiative in managing/balancing the needs of the regional teams with those of headquarters
